Happy new years Friends!! 2011 brought a lot of fun, new releases and success for DTR and we hope it brought all the same to you. We had 4 releases in 2011 (a busy year for a small label like us) and we want to thank Everymen KINGDOM Forty Winters and Make It Reign for being a part of it.

We have a tonnnn of ideas up our sleeves for 2012 releases and we’re excited to see exactly what materializes.

Hi All,

While we don’t think there needs to be one day of the year to appreciate what you have, we are glad that we have days like today to remind everyone of the family and friends and support they have. Peter and I wish that we could share unlimited tofurkey dinners with each and every one of you today as we are thankful for your support and help along the ways.

Hello Friends,

Things were pretty hectic here over the last few months but have finally started to slow down (good thing or bad?).

School is back in, records have all been shipped, the party is over (for now).
Everymen is now on tour across the east coast (dates here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=152147481526827). All their release shows were insane, if you were there you know. We wish them great luck on their adventure.

Kingdom is gearing up for their Euro tour (Sept/Oct) in a few weeks and have some new items in their webstore (www.xkingdomx.bigcartel.com).

Forty Winters is also gearing up for their (first) venture to Europe with Costa Rican powerhouse and our good friends in Billy The Kid for most of October. Europe, we love you, be good to these young men.

Hello, internet world.

DTR is proud to announce we will be releasing Everymen’s “When Water’s Thicker Than Blood” on 12″ vinyl.

This is new territory for us and we are excited to be working with a new band who has such a strong work ethic, creativity, and overall personality. Everymen is somewhere between Skynyrd and Against Me! with a little Tom Waits flavor. Their live shows are something special and never to be missed. Above all things that Everymen has, that a lot of bands seem to lack these days, is soul.

Everymen will be dropping jaws and panties all over the U.S. this summer. Dates will be up soon.
Pre-orders are up now at www.deadtruthrecordings.bigcartel.com/artist/everymen . The vinyl is being pressed in 3 different color combinations and every order comes with a limited patch. We will also be giving away 3 test presses randomly with pre-orders.

When Water’s Thicker Than Blood will be released on CD/Digital through Wayward Parade Entertainment (Website and more details coming soon), our good friend, John Wylie’s new label with Serg from Everymen.

We are super excited to announce that the Kingdom Threads 7″ has left the plant (none other than the famous Pirates Press, of course) and is on the way to DTR HQ.

Pre-orders have exceeded our expectations and all pre-orders will ship on June 17th! Hopefully some of you will receive this even before the official 6/21 street date. www.deadtruthrecordings.bigcartel.com

Pre-orders come with the most rare color 7″, a limited T-shirt designed by Davin herself (if you order the package), a sticker, a button, a digital download card and whatever other free goodies we might be able to throw in.

The most rare color combo (All white, only 150 pressed) will probably sell out during pre-orders. Don’t miss the opportunity to get the most rare color!
